Good day all of you!
Today is the first day of Project Community 2014. I am very much looking forward to confusiasm and share in the learning process of you, a fresh group of students. The introduction week last week has been a good week for community building and provided us all a headstart on how to work well in groups. You have already given it some thought and have designed principles which could form the foundation of the group-work. This is a very good starting point for discussing and experiencing what works well. To remind you I have added a few pictures below of the principles that resonated with me and were clear communicated through design.
Last year I had written one post (in total) prior to the start of the project stating some principles, I will repeat and tweak them so you know what to expect from me:
- Never too old to learn; reflect on (project community) experiences and extract learnings from it together, either with colleagues, students or on my own; sharing these insights every week via this platform.
- Fully present; dedicating my attention and focus towards that what is happening at that moment; inviting everyone to do the same.
- The overview effect: bear in mind the end/bigger goals and frame experiences or questions in a bigger picture.
Enjoy a great start of the project all!
