Tom Hulme talking about innovation, desire paths and design

Tom Hulme is a serial entrepreneur. He founded and now runs OpenIDEO & OIEngine. He is the Design Director at IDEO. Last year he spoke at the G8 Innovation conference in the United Kingdom.

He talks about how by building empathy for your customer you can become a better innovator:

  1. Live like your customer
  2. Observe them in the real world
  3. Learn from extremes

Create delightful desire paths – Tom Hulme

After looking at his keynote I’ve been seeing desire paths every where… Thanks Tom for the inspiration :)

By the way, find out more about OpenIDEO, an open innovation platform with 50,000+ users, on socialinnovationnews.com a CNCPTMKR project.
